On a phone

Below about 760 px (a phone, or a narrow window) the layout changes:

  • The menu (☰) holds what the top bar has on a desktop: Tasks (it opens the list of reports), Projects, Tags, Summary, Calendar, Burndown, Console, Review, Reminders and Settings. The bar keeps what is live: the running task and the active context. A floating + adds a task from any page.
  • Tasks are cards. The description comes first, with a tick box and the number, then small marks: priority, project, tags (tap one to filter), due date (red once past), urgency and the report’s other columns. A started task is tinted. A card has a Done button and a ⋯ menu with start or stop, edit, delete and your task commands.
  • Pull down at the top of a page to sync and redraw it.
  • Sorting is a Sort picker, since there are no column headers to tap. Forms and a task’s detail go full screen.
  • Complete (⇥) and Previous command (⌃) stand in for keys a phone lacks. They sit beside Edit and Copy on the line that shows the last command. The prompt grows to show a long command, and suggestions can be tapped.

You can add the web app to your home screen from the browser menu, or use the Android app: it keeps the tasks on the phone, works offline, syncs straight with your bucket and has widgets.
